I'm Matt, a Cotswolds local at heart.

I grew up in the Cotswolds, attended school in Cheltenham and went on to study at Bristol. After graduating, I began my career in residential real estate in the Cotswolds before moving into international property and relocation markets, helping people and businesses navigate moves across borders.

In 2003, I launched my first startup and discovered a passion for building and scaling technology businesses. Over the past two decades, I've founded and led multiple ventures across the UK, United States, Sweden and Russia, taking products from early-stage concepts to international operations and achieving a few successful exits along the way.

Having lived and worked in cities including London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Moscow, Berlin, Munich, Paris, Copenhagen and Malmö, I've experienced first-hand what it means to relocate, settle into new communities and build a life somewhere unfamiliar.

Now, together with my wife and our dog Sunny, I'm returning to the Cotswolds. Through Confidential Cotswolds, I share practical advice, local insights and personal experiences to help others make the move to one of England's most beautiful and distinctive regions.
